I have one, but have not fitted it yet.

Note that he has also fitted an adjustable proportioning valve to the set-up to tune the rear brakes.

Note the Line-Loc for the front brakes.

Hi Don,

You apply the brakes and then apply the line lock, this traps the brake pressure acting on the front brakes, so holding them on leaving the rears still free to turn, that way you can spin the rear wheels whilst they work against the front brakes which are locked so aiding burning out to warm up your rear tyres prior to a run up the strip.

Cheers John

While they are used for the burnout procedure the actual reason is to keep the car from moving once staged. This is hard to do with a stick shift unless you have three feet. If the car drifts out of the light, you will get a redlight. They are also called a Roll Control over here.

What I did was fit the linelock in the frt system. It has an inlet and two outlets which accomadate the two frt lines on the TR. The single rear line is fed through the adjustable proportioning valve. The standard TR8 proportioning valve is thus eliminated.

I have a wilwood adjustible proportioning valve in the rear brake line and also has the remote knob so I can make the adjustment from the interior. Really simple set up. Its on the wilwood website.
