ah my Tr gets used all the time but agreed some of those Ferraris etc nevr get driven

and as for Forum members a few turned up but it is difficult to know who's who unless you where a badge etc as people were on and off the stand.

i would suggest a forum badge on the lines of the one in the left hand corner to avoid confusion

I agree with you John,

When there is large meetings like the NEC it would make approaching and meeting other members a lot easier and more welcoming.

I don't think I need to wear a badge at Harrogate..... Just look for the big bummed red Grinnall donuting on the autotest course - thats me [:D]

I arrived too late on the Saturday to catch the forum gathering (aka geeks anon [;)]) had to come down after work so got there around 1 to the TR Register stand with enough time to wind Guy up abut his Dolomite indicator lenses. [8D]

Was there all day Sunday though so caught up with most of the usual suspects. Great news of the weekend was that the TR Register won CSC Car Club of the Year award, a great award for the 40th anniversary year!

Thanks John, as you can see we had some good banter with "the folks" in TS2 and with the appearance at Top Gear Live and the NEC the Coke Car has had unprecedented attention ever since. All good for the mighty wedge! [:D]

Ian

photos were good and one even has become my desktop photo

thank you very much for that, they will grace an upcoming youtube vid soon :-)

Wayne
it's very true some of us certanly stand out from the crowd when our cars are present but for those TR7 owners who attend these events alone and especially things like stoneliegh and the NEC we are all hard to pick out, until we get known. Especially true of new forum members and enthusiasts. and those who are unable to attend many of the events up and down the country.
