Told my daughter just last week, a perfect new home for us would be a 3000foot garage with a 2 room flat above![:D]

<blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Century Gothic, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote">Heaven forbid the 'dining room', I'm not even allowed to go in there[:0] This room was the 6th bedroom, which I was going to use as a library (it would have been full of my car books anyway)so it didn't take much persuasion that we didn't need 6 bedrooms (or a library)....especially that there is only 3 of us living here[:D]
The deal was that I don't touch the dining room, conservatory or laundry and that the Mrs of the house can put her Spider in the garage at night, you can guess the rest[;)] Just how will I be able to fit her car and my bed in the garage at night is beyond me [:D]

Aye, but then you forget I am a full blooded Kiwi [:D] and we only move into properties where the garages are more plentiful than rooms[;)], failing that the kitchen will always suffice for a splendid parts cleaning room[^]
Thanks for the comment on the nice house, it will be nicer once the garage is finished[8D]

As progress came to a halt yesterday because of the big winds and rain the builders weren't able to get the roof finished and the floor concreted before the weekend.
This is the stage today before night set in.

This will be the first car into the garage once the door is fitted, at the moment she is cowering behind the rose bush[8)]

So is the red dhc as sad a case as Var or have you purchased one that is more of a keeper?

I see you have an excellent builder, tell me, is he working in a supervisory role, assessing the next decision vital to the satifactory completion of the build or posing for his next album cover (long pensive glances toward the sunset etc.)?[:D]
