to their DHC without fitting a rear spoiler or drilling the bootlid?
I was pulled over by the police the other night whilst driving my '96 Golf Gti. Only one of the two brake lights was working and their immediate thoughts were "duff light, older car, therefore dodgy car and driver". That's what they said, so I got the full ANPR workout and they got a surprise that I wasn't under 20.
They were very polite and after everything checked out fine, they recommended a 3rd brake light for the extra visibility and safety if one bulb blows again.
It's relatively easy to fit a high level 3rd brake light on a hatchback without molesting the car but what about the DHC?
