Hi everyone. Yes, we're doing a calendar. I wanted to start small, not having any idea how popular it would be so it's just the WWWedge mailing list guys who submitted photos this time (there are about 600 or so on that list). If it works well logistically, I might try expanding next year to this forum (with the moderators' blessing) and the formally organized clubs too. The WWWedge mailing list is not really officially connected with any club BTW. Me? I DO have a say in the TWOA if you care about such things. I'm a member of VTR, TWOA, and the TR Drivers Club... and probably still have access to Richard's site as well. I'm a certified wedgehead "loony" I'm afraid.

Meanwhile, I'm getting to the point of figuring out how many calendars to order. I've gotten a show of hands from the mailing list, and several of you here as well. Shout if you think you'd like one. Price will be around $10 in the US and Canada and I will mail overseas too for a bit more. Waiting to hear from Joe Pawlak on the final price. Might be less if we get enough interest.

No, I'm not making any money on this. I just wanted a calendar which shows off Wedges :-)

Wish me luck!
Jim

P.S. Oh, I forgot to mention, voting has ended now and the final 12 photos selected. Those of you here who sent me photos may see them on the "collage" pages front and back. Thanks.

Here's the message I just posted on the World Wide Wedge mailing list and I know several of you here are interested in the calendars as well:

<font color="blue">I've just hit 125 calendars and the orders are still coming in. Apparently Joe has NOT actually gone to the printing stage yet, but it's all set up waiting for me to give him a final number. Whew! Otherwise I just blew past my original estimate of how many I'd need.

If you haven't placed your order and/or told me how you're paying, please do so ASAP! I've tried to ping those of you I haven't heard from but I'm sure I missed some of you. I'll be taking care of the International orders (Joe will mail the US/Canada ones) so we can work out the best shipping options sometime soon. But I need to have a total calendar count to Joe ASAP.

Calendar info page is here:
http://www.team.net/TR7/Calendar

I think I'll have to stop taking orders THIS SATURDAY NIGHT just so we can get the printing and mailing started. Before I do, I'll take a screenshot of JUST the names and number of people who have ordered, post it on a webpage, and you can check to be SURE you're on the list.

I'm HOPING not to miss anyone and I'll have Joe print a few extras just in case but I'm not perfect (as my wife tells me repeatedly) :-)

Jim (looks like we may have to do this again!) :-)
