Michael: At the other end of the collectable pole, from Frederick MD at $300 was my lowly '76. ("No V8 for you!") A graduation party joke for a daughter, I loaded up the grafittied, barn-find and hauled my prize back over Catoctin Mts. 60k miles on it, but frozen brakes, engine and previous home to a menagerie of small critters.
It's true, TR7s find us, so good luck on your bit of Karma!

Don the nose panel actually bolts to the fenders/wings and then welds inacross the front at the ends where the grille would go and across the back in the engine bay and two underside supports next to the headlamps. what you see is the under the outer skin that if not all rotted away would be in one assembly. I have a rust free panel from a 1980 blue TR7 we are going to graph in.

UPDATE! The car now runs. all it needed back in 1990 to keep it road worthy was a buick points & condensor! Even the chokes work on the weenie zeenies! The irony is the owner I bought the car from had 2 sets of points, caps, rotors and had changed the spak plugs but never fixed the distributor.
