Here’s where to discuss anything specific about your standard(ish) car or something that applies to the model in general.

Reverse lamp switch

Postby mb4tim » 08 May 2008 01:58

OK, is there supposed to be some sort of pin that sticks out of this switch??

Mine looks like there's a little ball, but it doesn't move or anything.

Doesn't help that the one wire is frayed and broken off, I could solder that back on. Anyone have one for a 5-speed they'd like to part with??

The catalogs show a little nipple that protrudes (ooo, that's kinda naughty, no?) out of it, mine is stuck inside. They are a whopping $12.95 at VB, do you think NAPA would have it?

He shows only one for all years. Let's see what it's like when it gets here. Thanks!
