The LHS turn indicator works but flashes very slow
The RHS turn indicator comes on and stays on without flashing
The hazards work fine

Do i have change the flasher unit?

Changing to a modern flasher unit will probably solve the problem but the actual reason will be due dodgy connections/earths and obviously dodgier on the right! Are you sure you haven't got a bulb blown on that side?

When the right turn indicator stays ON, does the front bumper lamp
(amber) and rear tail light assembly lamp also illuminate?

If yes, then change the turn indicator flasher relay. The hazard
flasher is a separate relay. Also, check to make sure the rear
tail lamp assembly has a good sheet metal Ground connection.

I second the idea to change the relay.

Very easy, even I managed it! My TR7 Sprint had the same issue

Thank you all for your comments particulary the issue of the tail light coming on when the indicators are on. As i have just put the car back together I will check for a sound earth and also change the flasher unit. Keep you posted.
