Finally got my refurbised fuel tank installed today.....not a fun job! While I had the tank out I thought I would change out the rear shocks with some unipart shocks I purchased some time ago. Here is my question, the new shocks seem very weak I can extend and shorten them quite easily. Once compressed they also stay that way. The old shocks ( I don't know how old they are, I've had the car 5 years ) are much stiffer and when compressed always return to fully extended on their own. I am now wondering if I should use the new shocks or stay with the old ones. The old ones are kyb gas shocks. I don't know much about shocks so any input would be appreciated.
thanks, Gary.
