I've decided that it's time my 4 speed FHC, that's been sitting on the drive for the last 18 months, is got back on the road. Primary investigations show that she's not suffered much since she was rested so there's not too much to do hopefully.
One of the reasons that she was left idle was that the engine needed some work, so as part of the plan I'm intending to transplant the good engine from my DHC (which is coming off the road for some work shortly and hopefully a V8 conversion).
The question I'm asking is do I have to swap the clutch to use the 4 speed box or is it OK to leave the 5 speed one in place.
I've searched the forum as I'm sure this has come up before but I couldn't find a definitive answer.
