1980 DHC TR7

Postby jazzie » 13 Mar 2008 23:17

Is it possible to have a TR7 made in Canley with a TR8 bonry and TR8 wheels? I brought this car as a project for me and my father as he is newly retired..

"bonry"? If by "TR8 wheels" you mean factory alloys, they were available as standard on certain special editions and as an option.

Jazzie, TR8 alloy wheels are in the same style as TR7 alloy wheels but did have a different finish & part number/date code. What do your wheels actually look like - got any pictures?

Not sure what you mean by a "TR8 bonry". Do you mean bonnet?(or hood I think it's called over there!) The TR8 & later TR7 have the same bonnet, known as a double bulge bonnet. It's not exclusive to the TR8. You could have that on a Canley TR7.

Look under forum heading General Wedgie chit chat - right at the top is a sticky about how to post images. Good luck!
