New top for tr7

hello, i justed ordered a new top for my 1980 tr7, i have never put a top on before are there any tricks or shortcuts that would help me, thanks chuck

I don't know any shortcuts because I have only had to change my 7's top one time. But one trick I used was what they tell you to do with a seat cover before installing it, lay it flat on the ground in good sunlight and it will be easier to work with. I can say this changing out the top was fairly easy as best I remember and only took a part of an afternoon and a few beers, or was that a lot of beers and thats why I can't remember much about it.

Agree with Jclay & Moe - this is a very helpful book & has a section explaining how to fit the hood. Worth having for sure.
