What do the acronyms DHC and FHC stand for?

Thank you for clarifying that, I just couldn't get the letters to match up with anything, got as far as something something convertible...

So - have you got yourself a TR 7 yet ? DHC is great in summer - but not really suitable for winter - mine will shortly be locked away until April. FHC is better suited to winter use - but very claustrophobic - and very vulnerable to SALT attack in winter!

My car has been "Zeibarted" at some point, possibly from new. It's not very pretty (especially in the visible areas like under the bonnet) but it certaily seems to have saved the car from the salt, etc. It has very little rust, especially for an early model.

Which probably means it has NOT been used in winter! My car has 20 years of records - all showing only 6 months summer tax - not used in winter. Which I think explains it's survival today. Winter use on salty roads will NOT be beneficial!
