Hi all

I am just about to go and buy some brake parts and have read most of the posts on brakes. I have come to some conclusion on how best to approach this.
1 The front calipers and rotors to be replaced with the Ford Capri selection using John Clancy Quote "Ford Capri 2.1 injection. Front ventilated discs, calipers and pads."
Is this all i need for the front brake system? And what particular model is best?
Also i have 13 alloy wheels and need/want to keep them!
2 the master brake system with the Volvo master and booster.
Is this an ok combination using the above Capri!
Can i just use the Volvo master brake in place of the original master brake. This would be the cheapest version, to just buy the Volvo master brake and booster and just replace the non functioning master brake.
The original front calipers and rotors are fine just need to be kitted out and the back brake drum calipers are apart after must puffing. and can be sleeved and kitted.
The master brake just will not come apart so is easier to put on another master and booster and i also want to be able to maintain the brake system with local parts.
I know that this subject has been done to death but i was going to go and buy a Volvo (version of the 250 range) brake system- booster master and calipers and rotor for Au$330. Then kit them out and use them. I know that there is an issue with drilling out the rotor and that is fine but that there is issues with wheel size and that there is a need for a spacer.
Also does anyone have a good alternative for the clutch slave cylinder?
Would like to hear anyones opinion on these points.
And as always a really great forum
