Here’s where to discuss anything specific about your standard(ish) car or something that applies to the model in general.

Triumph TR7 - Kenlowe Fan Problem

Postby bonnietiler » 29 Aug 2019 11:04

Hi there, no problems for the 2 years since I fitted the Kenlowe, but this AM it was clear that the fan was not functioning, either automatically or via the manual override. I checked the fuse which had indeed blown, I replaced this and whilst it has functioned beautifully for 24 hours ie not blown again, it will only function on Manual Override and not under any circumstances automatically,I have also switched the relay and no difference.
Any help much appreciated

Hi, I’m no expert but logic would suggest to me that there is either a problem with the wiring to the temperature sensor or the sensor itself such that there is no signal getting from the sensor to trigger the fan.
