Here’s where to discuss anything specific about your standard(ish) car or something that applies to the model in general.

Hi Bmcecosse,

I usually get as far south as Glamis. This weekend Graham and I are entering into the Classic Autosport Ecosse Classic Rally using my TR7, we part completed it last year it was really good fun see the link, unfortunately no shots of the TR7 [ http://www.caledonianmsc.freeuk.com/n_ecosse06.htm ]

So are those gold wheels original, or a custom finish?

Hi rsamis,

The wheels are the original TR7 alloys but painted gold (FORD colour) by myself. I think the green and gold looks good, I was told by someone that they thought that Triumph had a special edition of some discription with gold wheels!.

There was a John Player special car in black and Gold or silver graphics. Not sure about the wheels, but probably best bet.

Your thinking of the John Players Special of the Lotus Esprit to celebrate Mario Andretti's F1 World Championship title the previous year.

PS. I like the long thin signatures like Beans' which I fashioned mine after.
