So what about the baby?!

Hint! When the baby is crying and has colic, the fastest way to cure it is to put both of them in the Triumph and drive them around for a while!!

You may not know it right now, but your good times are just getting ready to start! All my daughters are grown and on their own, but I think about them everyday and remember all the things they did growing up. Cherish the time you have with them! We see our baby (26) almost once a week but the other two we see about once ever two to three months! Way to long a time!

still no baby yet he will be 10 day's over due date tomorrow and my wife (if she hasn't had him beforehand) will be going into hospital to be induced on sunday evening.......... so soon i'll have both baby's whehey!........

as for the tr i drove it for the first time last night and "smooth" i did get few looks im not sure if they were aimed at the car or at the fact there was a guy driving an open top car with no hood up on a freezing cold night when its just about to rain with a big chees'y grin on his face...... well what the hell i'll prob's get a few of those....

Oh! and i now know what all you guy's meen about the standard brakes (talk about soft and sponge'y)

Gaz, brakes take a lot of bleeding to get the air out, particuarly the single rear pipe across the axle. I use an Eazibleed pressure bleeder and brakes are rock hard after a couple of bleeds. Remember to take the failure switch out of the bottom of the master cylinder before bleeding.
After problems rebuilding my master cylinder (or getting it apart) and getting a leaky rebuilt one, I fitted an S&S uprated servo and M/cylinder unit and have no problem with the power of the standard brakes. They are now firmer than my Saab 9k, but I miss the ABS as all four wheels lock up very easily.

well here are a couple of latest shots..... hoods on just needs the studs putting on when it gets a bit warmer ha ha!!..
photo's taken at my brothers garage this certainly isn't blaitent advertising he hates the cars and doesen't like working on classics not fast enough turn around i guess..........
but hey!... dosen't the car look good next to the Alfa.?

Great pictures for a comparison. The TR7 holds up very well doesn't it? What year is the Alfa? I haven't seen anything like it here.

its a P reg so that would make it 96-97
and this is what they look like from another angle
i alway's thought they have a similar look to our 7's.........in the sense it could have been the next progression for the nineties

Gaz,lookin'good,mate.I popped in to Robsport to wish them a
happy xmas and they showed me a customers wedge body shell
that had just been sprayed in a similar hue.The windscreen
posts and top rail were sprayed gloss black.I dont know if
thats gonna' work on a wedge.I notice its been done on the
Alpha.Also had the sills painted blue,should always be black
IMHO!
