Solid Green Wire Flashes

Hi All - I am getting my other TR7 out of hibernation. It has been in my garage for 8 or 9 years. (I have been driving my other TR7). I have been getting this one ready for the road. The issue I have is that the solid green wire which is a fused always on with the ignition on is getting feed back from the turn signal flasher! When I hook up my test light to the green wire the light is on but there is a light flashing when the signals are on. Even the low fuel light has a slight flashing to it. This flashing was very noticeable when I added LED daytime running lights. (Canadian car). Could this be a symptom of a bad ground somewhere or an old flasher unit?

I’ll have to take your question on advise as I’m laid up in hospital at the moment and not thinking too straight a bloody heart attack will do that.
Hopefully someone will be along sooner to help you

Always a good idea to check and clean earth points. Symptoms point in that direction.
Did you also put LED bulbs in? In that case you needed an electronic flasher unit.

I found these are top notch, it is a variable flasher unit, you can set the flash rate to whatever you want.

A new flasher unit is on the way and I will check any grounds I can find.

Its really cool on this forum when you get help from all over the world, even guys that are in hospital!
