Once it is finished (so with all the parts bolted back in place) it will be substantially heavier.
That should lower it a few inches :wink:

ps. shouldn't the door frames on an earlier car be in the body colour instead of black?

Just looked at photos of mine when it was a bare shell in the paint shop and it was sitting exactly the same as yours, both front and back. Mine settled down to normal height both ends once all it built up. Suprising how much all the stuff you put back on weighs. Car is looking great by the way. I last saw it when I came up and bought you roll over jig.

Thanks Andy, good to know. Hopefully the old thing won't sit so high when put back together, otherwise I'll have to put on a few pounds to weight it down :)

Delighted to say the car arrived back today, after leaving in April. As the young-uns would say, "hashtag 'chuffed'"

And now the reassembly of a giant Airfix kit commences!
