Clock stopped working

Thanks for the clock reference, I'm not much of an electronics expert but will study it and visit Maplins.
I changed the bulbs to LEDs following a thread here as when replacing the bulbs previously it was obvious that the heat had been melting the bulb holder mounting areas. This only applies to the backlighting as the warning lights are not on for very long. I will have to see if the ad on ebay lists green lights (better postal service from HK than from the UK!), although the blue did not look bad but does not match the rest.

One thing I was thinking of doing was putting a light in the centre console so that a light is shining down on to the gear stick area. I got the green lense and bulb holder all ready to make the holes, but thinking about it, the better option may be to go to Maplin and just get two green LEDs and holders and put them in. But in saying that would it be possible to fix the LED's so that they work with the dimmer switch and go up and down with the rest of the interia lights?
