Foot well lighs

Postby UKPhilTR7 » 17 Feb 2008 17:48

I have seen a few of the new car and noticed that they have nice foot-well lights and I was thinking if this could be done with a TR7. I was thinking a light could be put in the centre console unit to shine down into the foot-well. Has anyone seen anything like this before or done it themselves? I would be interested in seeing it.

Phil, got these in my 8.They are simply door lights placed under the
dash.Hardest bit will be to cut holes out to fit them.I'd mark the
rectangle to be cut, score lightly with a scalpal then drill holes
around it.Take care not to bore thro'anything else!!Then its an easy
job to extend door light wires once holes are made.

Look carefully and you'll just see the light on driver side above the
pedals.

See ya. Paul

This is the kind of think I was looking at. I was not too sure if I would have to put a green based light in the foot-well to keep with the overall feel of the car. I did not want one too bright either as it looks better with a soft light in the well.

i would suggest a simple green LED set up, ive pondered on this idea in the past, i've seen these on ebay and Halford, what you don't want it to do is show up that mess of wiring behind the dash [:D] always thought a nice removable cover would go down well there, so many idea's so little time
