Simon, I have a couple of funy screw drivers, which are perfect for
these jobs.
They are a 6" length of screw driver size steel bent up at 90degrees
at one end, & bent down at the other. One end has a plain screw
driver head , & the other has a phillips head driver.
So you have a thing like a flat Z, with 2 screw drivers on it. The
screw driver bit is about 1.5" long, & gets in there no trouble.
They are available, in parts shops here, now, so you should be able
to get them, over there. If not, just ben an existing screw driver.
If you have an inline filter, before the pump, its probably
unnecessary, to clean that filter. My pump filter has never had any
dirt in it, since I installed a filter inline before it.
