The inline filter will have been added by the PO, it wasn't standard fitment as there is a filter gauze in the pump. However it is a lot easier to catch the crud before it reaches the pump & change that in line filter from time to time, than cleaning the filter gauze in the pump!
That's s fine looking example. I can't believe you got that with that low mileage for $950 - congrats!

Yep, I replaced the plugs and plug wires because it developed a miss on the way home, that fixed the miss,and I am also waiting on a new rotor cap and distributor cap, it has the Delco Remy electronic distributor installed. Now I need to find out what is wrong with the windshield wipers(not the fuse). Haven't checked the wiring at the motor yet.
