Wheels?.

Does anyone know if wheels from an MG metro will fit a tr7 please? I know they used bits from the metro to develop the MGF, just not sure how much?

No they won't. Minis and metros have a 4 inch PCD. TR7s have a PCD of 3.75 inches and the MGF/Maestro/Montego is almost identical and will fit at 95.25mm.

Hi,
The only thing with using front wheel drive wheels is there 'off set' is different so can upset the handling [}:)]
Cheers John.

Later Rover Metros with the K series engine did indeed have the 3.75" pcd hubs (and therefore wheels) - but they were singularly unattractive! However this is the reason the MGF came to also have the 3.75" pitch - because essentially it was (almost) two Metro subframes bolted together !! So - MGF wheels certainly fit and are often very cheap on ebay - mainly because they don't fit much else, and MGF owners upgrade from the original 15" to the later 16" wheels. Maestro and Montego (and Marina - ahhggg) wheels will also fit - but ask yourself - do you really want to go there ??
And as said above - wheel inset may be a problem - but is not a problem with MGF wheels.
