fitting power steering on tr7 ?

After seeing the rhd power steering rack on the bay with 6 days remaining, I was wondering if it would be that easy to install into a standard tr7,
or would more pulleys belts etc need to be added to a standard 2 litre engine?

I built a PAS system for my Sprint Powered TR7, and mounting the pump was difficult.
I used a Ford pump, mounted on the exhaust side of the engine on brackets I made, but this
could probably be done better. I also had it running on the 8V engine before I fitted the 16V.

The end result was really worth the effort, as it allowed me to alter the caster angle to improve
the tracking, which would have made the car very heavy to steer without the PAS.
Changing the caster angle also removed any trace of wheel wobble.

The electric version based on a Corsa column or similar is probably easier to fit. I think there is a write-up somewhere here on the forum.

There should be a three-part 'How-To' guide on fitting Power Steering to a TR7 coming shortly to the TR-Driver, the TRDC's Bi-Monthly Magazine.....
Part One is planned for Issue Two - April 2016

Cheers for the replies ,
I also saw the £500 electric power steering on there and was just curious.
