Big Ouch !!!!
Looks like he walked away, which is the good news.
The bad news is the car.

Thats expensive. He was asking $50,000 for that, in full race trim.

That WAS the car that took 11Th outright in the 2002, or 3 Targa
Tasmania. The only things that beat him were the full race Porsches.
No Ferraris Lambos, or rice burners, just the Porsches.

He'd been in a similar position the year before, but he had another big off.

Most important he walked away from it more or less unscathed.
and it proves how strong a TR7 body is
or maybe that's thanks to the cage he welded in.

Just proves how strong TR7's are ! I was very glad I had a roll-cage in mine when I went off on late afternoon ice 2 years ago - only suffered cracked ribs and collar bone ! Car now reshelled and should be ready to rock and roll this year !

PS I have a TR4A cage on ebay for sale !

You better hurry, only 28 hours left [:D]

Looking at (the remains of) your car it's clear why they put cross braces behind the doors nowadays.
But most important you walked away less "dented" then the car
