Can you fit 7J x 15 inch Revolution wheels running on 195/50 15 tyres to a TR7 without modifying or turning up the wheel arch lip at the rear ?

Yes, they fit, no trouble, provided you have the correct wheel offset.
We run 205 15s, on 7" rims, on a 3/8" wider rear axel, with the arches lipped on our 8.

The bad thing is, I can't remember what the offset is.

The good thing is, its been discussed on here a number of times. Try
a search, if no one comes up with the figure.

Bear in mind the fact that on the avarage TR7 body the rear axle sits slightly off centre (to the right)
At least the 4 cars I checked at home have it.

My Sprint ('t Kreng) sits on 205/50 tyres on 7Jx15 Compomotive rims and it scrapes the RH rear arche slightly.
The DHC is on 195/55 tyres on 7Jx15 Revolution rims and the same here
Both rims have the same ET (25 mm)

I had the Revolutions on t'Kreng before with 195/50 tyres without problems

I have 8x15s on the back of mine.

The lip had to be removed from the arch but you cannot see any external mods.
Tyre size is 225x50x15

I've got 195/55/15s on mine using wheel adapters, they are 5-spoke stock Acura GS rims, love the look and fit. Turning radious isn't quite as good as with the 13 inchers, but these give the car a whole new look.
