Finally! KBA rides once more!

Yesterday I picked KBA up from Willow Triumph, all fixed and everything [:D] She's looking a lot smarter now too. She's now sitting on her alloy wheels and her sills are now painted black.



Last night was a meet for the Northumbria TR Register group, so was able to take KBA for a blast up the A1 to the meeting, braving the rather windy conditions! Everyone there was pleased I'd managed to bring her for once!

One issue I had on the journey last night was that I didn't have a working speedo, and so I wasn't totally sure how fast I was going [:P] A quick check this morning showed that the cable had simply come off the back of the instrument binnacle, and so was an easy fix!

Apart from that she's running fine, just need some decent weather to go for a nice drive in now!

The soft top certainly isn't loose.... takes some effort to put the damn thing up (though doesn't help that it'd been left down for a fair amount of time), it must just be the pic

Thanks for the nice words everyone, it is certainly a bit bitter-sweet driving her at the moment, as I do get the slight feeling that the wrong person is in the driving seat! But overall it's good to be able to go for a run out in her!

tr7jim, yep the fuel tank is sorted now, that was the main reason for sending her off to Willow Triumph in the first place, I didn't fancy dropping the rear axle on my own!! There's a small summary of the work done at Willow Triumph in my blog if people are interested.
