Victoria British has a trunk mat for $39.95 and trunk matting material, 40"x60" in size, to do the rest for $26.95 (in US dollars or cabbage leaves as we now call them[:)]). Bear in mind this is the first step away from originality and to the dark side.[;)]

The cabbage leaf reference comes from a town in eastern Canada that straddles the US/Canada border. You go in the front door of the library in the US and leave the exit on the Canada side. The water works department got paid in US money reguardless of nationality. Now that the Canadian dollar is worth more than the US dollar they want to get paid in Canadian dollars. The Americans in the town called the Canadian dollars cabbage leaves but they admitted they wouldn't be able to do that anymore.[:D]

I also like it. I think S&S has two different kits. One being double of the other. Not certain what they look like and include. Admittedly, not much help eh?

S&S do a carpet kit so give them a call, it looks very simular to their kit.

A cheaper idea if you can be bothered is to go to the Triumph stonliegh show in February, and you'll find a guy there selling carpet for around a tenner which you could then cut yourself.

or even search the net for a local uphosterer who'll do the job for you.

That looks like a pro job...if you look at the edges,it is piped or sewn rather well, instead of just someone with a pair of scissors cutting pieces of carpet. Would be nice to know who makes them,as it would certainly up the posh factor of the trunk!
