Spark plug tip closed

Here s one ,number 1 cylinder pug closed, how did this happen
it was corecked on installation ,today after a few months
the car started to misfire , loss of power .check plugs piston 1
spark plug closed the rest good
cleaned , set gap ,re installed ,all well

You would have to think that it was impacted by something, either a foreign object floating about the combustion chamber (shudders in absolute horror! :shock: :( :cry: ) or the plug was inadvertently knocked whilst installing (hopefully the case)

Were there any marks on the spark plug, as it indeed looks like something did hit it. Time to check the compression and look for any missing parts on the inlet side.

I'd be poking a bore cam down the spark plug hole and looking for nasties sitting atop of the piston.
