Making own TR7 brake pipes help needed

Hi all
I am having to replace a rear brake pipe and going to have a go at making my own but unsure which flaring tool I need I know its 3/16 size but do I need sae or din fitting.

Never heard of that question before and never seen it mentioned in sales information. I always thought it was just the pipe size that was important.
All the brake system on the TR7 is metric so presumably its the ISO/DIN Been making my own for donkeys years and recently bought a used BluePoint kit TF5A on Ebay and that works just fine.
Some of the cheap ones don't always do such a good job.

update, I found this information after a bit of searching but none of the adverts selling fittings that I have seen mention the differences.

Be careful giving that advice dursleyman.
In Oz we actually have a sticker on the cars warning that brake systems may be metric or imperial. Perhaps this only applies to Oz assembled cars, but in Oz at least the systems could be either.

I always believed the warning label was in reference to the unions (connector) being metric thread as opposed to imperial threads.
Every brake pipe I made up was with 5/16 copper (kunifer) tubing and the only difference being how the ends were flared with the tool, which was dictated by whether you were using a male or female connector.

The label indeed refers to the fittings (for the brakes pipe screws M10x1 with ΓΈ5mm hole)
And according to an old bill from a local brake specialist the brake lines are 3/16" (= nearly 5mm)
The flares they fabricated were according to a DIN norm (double or single flare depending on fitting)
