Re: toe in. Zero is at one end of the specification, not sure what the other is in degrees. Always thought there should be a little.

On closer inspection of your pictures there's something that worries me, the gap between the spacer and the disc.
It looks like you have the wrong disc/spacer combination (standard Capri disc with Rimmer's spacer)?

Discs and calipers are Capri 2.8i vented, i see the gap and have asked the question

I've had the S & S Capri disc brake kit on my wedge since the early 90's. IIRC there's no gap between the disc and adapter on mine.

If you need a close up of the disc / adapter I'll take the wheel off for a photo

My car sat high when I replaced springs and turned out the ‘standard’ new springs were different height to the original standard spring. I ended up putting my old springs back on as all the new ones were the same.

I can not get my head around a car "settling"when changing the springs.Surely the spring rate stays the same,or should, the rubbers may compress but that would mean they are already worn?If the car is rolled forwards enough to unload the tyres from being jacked up and the bolts tightened at ride height there should be no settling?Steve..
