Long time no post ! Hope you are all ok.
This popped up on Face Flannel this afternoon on various pages, for those who have not seen it - and its positive
if not always correct in details !

Yeah, he would really have enjoyed that ride on some twisty turny stuff - they are built for it, and loads of fun around country roads.
I quite like the gearbox whine - it makes my car sound racey. I think I also have forgotton that most gearboxes of the era probably were a bit whiney, more basic design and manufacture and lube technology.
Felt really sorry for his clutch....

Yah, I had to laugh that to test the handling of the TR7 he had to turn from one road onto another intersecting. Although the TR7 is fine on straight roads, it's meant for the twisties.

That's a road test with a difference.
He knows his Triumph TR's. He listed them all from 2 to 8.

Not so much. He listed the TR5. The TR5 was never sold in N/A, it was badged as the TR250 (carb'd).

He was trying to break it to see if it had any weak points he had to address. There wasn't.
