It has been for sale surprisingly enough for some time now.

Have a look at the pic of the tosspot in the top right hand of the page.......would you buy a car from this man?
I would trust this bloke about as far as I could comfortably spit a rat!

Almost £ 40.000,- for a TR7 with a V8 conversion, tatty seats, signs of rust at the bottom of the RH door,
and an under bonnet sprayed with a vacuum cleaner. The world has gone mad
Looks like he took the "normal" market price and added the invoices to it together with a fat reserve

All too many people don't research a market properly, or at all, before making crazy purchasing decisions. Someone may just buy this thing without checking it's value.

My lady recently found she had a flat tyre by driving off from our daughters a couple of hundred yards. She then drove back to my daughters to look at changing it. Needles to say the tyre is shot. The other 3 are newish matching tyres, so I wish to replace the shot tyre with another the same.

A local tyre & mechanical shop quoted me $138 supply & fit. A large tyre company in a large town a only 20 kilometres further away quoted me $87 for the exact same tyre.

I find it amazing that the local place has stayed in business for 20 years, when they are that uncompetitive.

Interestingly my recently bought 2002 Mazda SP20 she was driving, my remote control aircraft transporting car, has 4 moderate quality tyres, & a sporty very new looking Yokohama as spare. The breakdown service man who came to change the wheel suggested she should get another of those, & use them on the front.

When I looked, that was an original tyre, 15 years old he was suggesting she should use on the front. God help anyone taking this "experts" advice.

the auction trends are quite shocking as well - cars selling for three\four times of the estimates!!

Sure has a nice write up, but I do not think the powers that be will allow that much to come out of the bank. I think that there is one number too many in the price.
