Have holes in the back axle cove,r there are a few, i have sealed
it up with a 2,in 1 poxy resin , its fixed this problem for a while
is there a case that you ca weld on ,and cut of the old one
its a 4 speed axle ,the 5 you can replace the cover
what do you think

I think you need to replace the axle but there may be someone else who has an ingenious solution to keep the axle in place a while longer. Is it worth the risk though given what can happen. The casing rotting out is not uncommon.
