Beautiful day and interesting for a number of reasons
All the cars managed the sedate 80 mile tour round the beautiful Cheshire countryside
There were about 90 cars or so?
maybe 4 TR3 same number of TR3A
Perhaps 6 TR4 maybe 10 TR4A
1 x TR5
30 TR6 + 2 or three stags a stunning Jaguar E-Type Convertible a Dolomite couple of Spitfires you get the picture
1 x TR7 Fixed head
2 x TR7 V8 (including Mine) only one with dayglow orange wheels of course.
Interesting how rare the TR7 has become so quickly..The fixed head was beautiful but...it was a hot day and he looked hot in there!

Sounds like a great day out.
Lol I wonder how practical some of the rally reps would be with the heat from engine bay and harder suspension. The resurgence of popularity of fhc cars seems to be fuelled by videos of Tony Pond thrashing about in the golden days!
We did 600 miles in a fhc one summer weekend and it confirmed my own love of convertibles!
Each to his own -life would be dull if we all held the same views

I love both soft top & hard tops.

I did have to fit air conditioning to my 7 coupe, as I found I was just not using it in summer almost 4 years ago.

Didn't worry me as a young bloke, 10 years or so ago, but I seem to have gone all soft & woose, since my 70Th birthday.
