Yep.
A very very merry Christmas to all our mates on the forum. A big thankyou to all of you. You, & this forum, have doubled the enjoyment of my Triumphs for me, these last 10 years.

The rain seems to be a common theme. After one of the driest summers ever it has been raining here in Vancouver, Washington for 24 days straight. Although the sun is peeking out right now.

Happy Holidays to everyone on the BEST Forum on the internet!

Yes we got lucky too.

17mm of rain Christmas eve, & 20mm on Christmas day. Our tanks were getting low with guests who don't understand living on tank water, so it was a great Christmas present for us. That sort of rain falls in less than an hour around here, so the sun is out, & it's a lovely hot day, & the kids are back in the pool, almost as soon as the rain stops.

With it still hot between storms, I reckon the grass has grown an inch in 3 days.

Incidentally, can anyone tell me why people get out of the swimming pool, just because it's raining?

It was sunny but cool (4C) here in Vancouver, Canada, 6 hour travel for a 5 hour visit for Xmas. When I got back to the car at the ferry terminal there was frost on the windows. As we don't get frost were I live, I didn't have a scrapper in the car to get it off so had to sit there until the defrost took care of it.

Credit card makes for a handy emergency substitute.
