well when the clutch went on the mondeo had to press the tr7 into daily commute to work and back and all went well til yesterday, car started missing about mile from work, and cut out just as pulled into the retail park and would not start, as had rac cover with bank i called them out as had to go into work, turned out wire from condensor had detached! and i had no spares, then came final kick in teeth it turned out i had no recovery cover and had to pay 120 quid to get car home!!! [:(!]
got on net and new set of points and condensor arrived this morning from robsport, fitted and mobile again, will now get spares in again!!!! also told battery needs replacing so is on shopping list along with clutch master cylinder rebuild kit.
at least weather improving so should be able to get more done.
biggest laugh, my manager rang yesterday evening to see where i was as they thought after being trailered 30 miles home with the car and now no working cars i was coming back to work........... place is a joke.[V]

I'm in the AA costs about £10 per month in whatever I'm driving or even a passenger.
When I broke down in the dodge last month 300miles from home they took it home for me took it and us to Sterling, they then put the Dodge on another recovery truck then paid for a taxi from Sterling to Glasgow costing £60 odd to pick up a hire car to drive home in.
Can't beat a good recovery service
