Steering Rack

Hi all,
Not really sure how to word this, or even if it's worth posting but here goes!.. I'm refitting the steering rack and true to form it's "Always the last one" that gives grief.
Of the four steering rack to subframe bolts, the one that cannot accept a bolt AND nut because of space restrictions (under the splined shaft that exits the rack) has 'given' leaving me with no thread to wind the bolt into. I have a spare rack / have helicoils / various bits and bobs to fix it but thought i'd let you know incase you're under your cars and just want to check they're all tight.. Btw i wasn't hanging off it, i was using a normal 17mm spanner and hadn't even gotten to the point of torquing it up.
Rob.
