The Classic Car Show - Another dig at the 7

Just caught up with the shows and even when they're talking about MGBs QW still finds time to have a pop at the 7.

I'm really starting to dislike this bod and his rather slimy attitude, never thought I'd get so worked up over a TV programme/presenter.

i watched the first episode, loved the tr7 article and then looked on in disbelief at the a**hole attitude of combover wilson, if its not worth over 20k i think he hates it, i switched prog off, cancelled record on tv and not bothered watching it since, if hes at the restoration show may well pass comment on his narrow minded comments but with his big headed attitude i doubt he will even care, we really dont need another clarkeson knocking classic cars in the name of entertainment.....

project dhc sold sadly, but project fhc taking over... Dave...

Agree with you about Quentin Wilson but its a pity if you missed Alex meeting Dereck Bell, it was brilliant, the XJS part was also excellent.
I have complained about Wilson undoing all the publicity we were trying to achieve for the show.

Although that will be heard like a whisper in a night club.

I also have stopped watching it, but it is on the record, and have been known to fast forward to the bits that Alex was doing</b></font id="teal">. [8D]

I do the same now, record the programme and then skip through the dross and adverts.

I think QW attitude is all wrong, buy a car wait a couple of years cash in!

Do any of us do that? If the car(s) appreciate over time that great news, but it's not the reason we do it, we do because we like our cars and enjoy driving, tinkering or rebuilding them.

Agreed. And I also did the same regarding the show, watched the first one and then listened to that moron Wilson and have never watched it again which is a shame as I do enjoy classic car shows even if the sofa scenes with Jodie Kidd were a bit cringeworthy.

29 years of wedge ownership has made me almost immune to this stuff. It was far worse back in the day than it is now............

Just think, Allegro, Marina, Ital and Maxi owners probably have it far worse than us. [:D]
