Very good Alex, but i tell you what Quinton Willson has lost any respect

I ever had for him, not that i had much for him.

the comments were so out of order, not because it was a tr7 but i don't believe that any car should get ridiculed in that manner.

I must admit that I said to the wife before the program started that he didn't like the tr7 and would say something nasty,, he didn't let me down,
Good feature on the tr7 , ruined by Quentin.

Couldn't agree more, Quentin should know better owning an SP 250, which were just as hated back in the day. How his comments can be seen as in any way acceptable given that the TR7 was the best seller and there are still so many on the road which disproves his rust bucket comments. Having been associated with sevens since before they were launched, I do not let negative comments wind me up usually, but he really has rattled me tonight...

I have no idea how to use Twitter but we really need to get our comments on the Twitter account they mentioned: @classiccar_tv #TR7

What that means I have no idea, but if you do, rave about the 7!!!

Agreed a fantastic piece by Alex....
Alan I can only agree with you:
Something I messaged Stevie A and John215 with during the show.....

What does Quinten Wilson know any way, he reckons you can restore a engine with this stuff.....

Hi,

Alex was great [8D]

But as far as Mr Wilson is concerned what a complete narrow minded idiot [:(!] He is everything I despise about the classic car world rolled into one person !! Never had much time him, but know have none whatsoever.

He was at the NEC this year, if there this year I feel I may be having a word or two with him [:(!]

I don't do ****ter, but my eldest is going to do on my behalf.

Cheers John

If Mr Wilson was to buy and sell a TR7, he would not make a profit and then he would not be able to afford some more hair dye.
Informed feature from Mr Riley.
Cheap, unprofessional comment from Mr Wilson.
Buy them, keep them, use them.

He (Willson - note the spelling) has always hated the TR7 - I had an on-line conversation with him where he said he will never have a TR7 on 'his' show (the car's the star).

His TR7 simile was quite pathetic and says more about him than I can relate.

Okay, I have just seen the program and I really liked it. Mr WIllson was a bit OTT about our cars but given the excellent job that Alex Riley did in promoting them, Willson was left looking a bit narrow-minded and churlish. I have said as much on Twitter.

"bit biased in favour of TR7s that Alex Riley so wonderfully presented , makes Quentin Willson look a bit narrow minded."

I now want to go out and buy another one too, will this affect prices?

By and large, the program was shallow; the only informed item [for any would-be enthusiast] was made by Alex, who was given the job of finding a good-value classic for under £5K. Then, at the end, he was derided by ill-founded, puerile comment by Mr Willson.

I won't be watching any more - best-buy was a Bentley or a Ferrari, I know fuel is getting cheaper but that's ridiculous!
