1000 posts!

Postby REPLIC8 » 02 Jan 2015 17:02

I've reached the milestone of 1000 posts, thought I'd mark this by posting some photos of the 3 TR's I've owned. I'm pleased to say the yellow TR7 and blue TR8 are both still alive and well and I know the owners of both cars. All 3 are great cars but my current green TR7 is my favourite. [:D]

I never knowingly saw the yellow one, but the blue one was amazing!

Don't know how you could have sold them......let's see which one should I drive today, yellow or blue, yellow or blue? No, I think I'm feeling green today....green it is.

That is a very nice group of cars. My two wedges are and were a bit rough. I haven't seen my old TR7 in years now. The guy I sold it to put a Buick 215 with automatic transmission in it. Progress on the TR8 has been slower than I'd like but at least I can drive it whenever I want. I may need to post a bit more often to hit the 1000 post mark in about the same length of time that it took you. 200 to go. [:D]

Nice job Andy !!

As for the cars ...well they are beautifull but I'm kinda partial to the combo of the blue 8

If I had the time/space/money I'd have all three, but alas no. I came close to buying the yellow one back in 2013, but it wasn't to be. If I had the room I would have kept the TR8 but the green TR7 is something very special so the 8 had to go.
If I win the lottery I'll build a lovely workshop and have a small collection of all my favourite cars. (We can all dream). [:D]
