Clutch Fork bearing question

Hi guys

On the Release / Throwout Bearing, what stops the carrier spinning on the Gearbox nose?

Looking at this picture, I can't figure out what stops it spinning and falling off the fork pins!

Your thoughts please.

Hi,

Each fork pin fits into a slipper pad which engages into the carrier. Rimmer's is good for exploded diagrams

Steve, there are a couple of flats where those slipper pins locate it onto the fork.

When I last replaced my clutch components the slipper pads had very sharp edges. The bearing carrier looked like it was made of glass filled nylon unlike the original metal item.

I filed down the sharp edges and corners of the slipper pads to prevent them gouging lumps out of the carrier
