Fitting Alloys

I have bought a set of Alloy wheels for my TR7 DHC 15" x 6 PDC 100x4. On offering them up to the hub there seams to be a wee bit of a problem, in that the studs do not aline properly.
Question is would it be OK to enlarge the holes to a;one the studs or have I bought some dud wheels. I know that Rover wheels with 100 x 4 spacing fit,

The wheels that have the same stud pattern are from an MGF. The Rover 200 etc are different as you've found. I have heard of elongating the holes but it probably isn't to be recommended

AH well then looks like I will be selling them on to somebody else. Bugger. I will just need to keep an eye out then for some MGF wheels. Cheers

So I take it that the stud pattern is 4 X 95.25 [?]

You can get wobble bolts, they do work, they are acceptable for road use in the UK.

The collar on the bolt is drilled out slightly allowing some play.
Google them!

Not acceptable on the continent.
Wouldnt even consider them for competition.

I think we have enough problems with wheel wobble, with everything as good as possible, without adding good reasons for a wheel wobble.

Wobble bolts? As if our cars didn't have enough wheel vibration problems without throwing in another possible variation.
Anyway our cars use studs and nuts to secure the wheels to the hub not bolts.
And if the wheels in question are stud centric good luck getting them to balance.

They can be all over eBay like a rash sometimes. Some look rougher than others
