Yes they mount to the 4 bolt holes in the pic.

Yes the drophead is the same,Check the mounts on the transmission tunnel as I found that the rearmost was cracked around the reinforcing plate,stangely not due to rust as the leaking engine/gearbox has kept this area rust free.Steve..

Even though this part is not about the floor , it really is as this is what I was heading to next
I j=-have read the ROM about removing the seats.
Sounds fairly rudimentary. There are only 4 bolts that hold the seats.
I take it that there are "cagenuts" welded to the body that the bolts screw into.
I suppose that I should put it in the air and spray some penetration oil on to the threads then

Yes you can do that, I use copper slip whenever replacing the bolts back into there rightful place [:)]

It just hit me.
Major question the bolts on the raised area, are they longer and the cagednuts are on the underside ,or are they under the channel??

There are captive nuts in the channels. In fact I think you can see them in the picture, & one looks to be out of place to some extent.
The system works well here, where I have had no trouble with rusty bolts. I have found 2 of my 7 had longer than suitable bolts replacing the original. 2 of them were so long they had been bent by contact with the road, or obstacle, & had to be cut off to get them out.
