Is This Your TR8

After watching the Youtube video of the engine starting from another post I spotted what looked like a familiar car in "other videos" box. Some one was taking a walk around it. It had the same fender flairs, the same new paint paint job, the same alloys, the same ratty seats [:D]. Sure enough when it came around to licence plate it was Washington State. Did you take this video Jim or did some one take it while you where in shopping and post on line.

It is my car. I didn't take the video. It was at a car show to benefit veterans last May. From the look of it I was probably at the registration table when this was taken. It was early before the rain started and the top went up. The engine noise you hear on the video isn't my car. From the guy's YouTube signature it was probably the owner of this nice Porsche. It was my first non-Triumph/British car show. I got lots of comments like, "How did you get that V8 in there." It was fun to talk to the uninitiated about the TR8. I also had great chats with the owners of some very nice Yankee steel too. Thanks for the find. Oh, here is a link to the photos I took at this show. http://s1242.photobucket.com/user/jim_c ... 20Veterans

Yeah the whole interior still needs doing. Maybe after I get new tires I can save up for the interior work. Now, if I can just find a well paying job so I can continue on. The wife thinks that the beach house and school were more important. School is done and for what we have put into the beach house I could have got a fleet of TRs. Some people have their priorities skewed huh? [:D]

At least it doesn't still look like this.
