I need to replace all of these. They're Â£3.00 each from Robsport via ebay. I gritted my teeth, but it seems a lot. Any comments?

Unless you are going to use a mirror to show off your fuel pipe clips I would look for an alternative [:)]

Have a look Bresco site for fuel pipe clips - you may find something suitable.
I bought clips for the seat foams from there & saved a fortune by buying a packet instead of single ones.

They are repro (that's the excuse) and ridiculously expensive for a small plastic moulding. And they often break if you are not careful! I got some years back from S&S when I first resurrected my car but they were good enough to replace the broken ones with my next order.

Go directly to Robsport at their website, rather than thru eBay. They have to raise their prices a bit on eBay because of the fees eBay charges for the listings and sales. It won't be a huge difference on a little order like that, but it can add up if you are buying a lot.

I stripped a TR7 one time that had a type of metal band clip with an oval rubber piece inside the band that lock together. Been looking for that style ever since, never seen them again. They were factory. One of the rubber parts held one fuel line and another rubber part held two fuel lines, but used the same metal band and attached to the steel rivet head welded to the floor. Sure like to find them again. I'll get a picture of one if I can find the spares I have around here.

The part number for those (metal clip) AFU1106 and the (rubber)CRC2549 or ULC2241. The ULC2241 rubber only holds one tube.

From what I see in the parts manual these were used on the fuel injected tr7/8.

I have never seen one on any of the cars I have parted, nor have been able to find any NOS ones, believe they NLA.

Please provide picture of what you have.

Rimmers list an alternative part no.150930 which looks like a larger version of the brake pipe fitting clips at 65p each and you can buy these same ones from Robsport on Ebay for Â£6 a pack of ten.

I looked around here today for those spare fuel line clips...... couldn't find any. I have or have broken for parts four TR8 fuel injected cars, one June 81 and none of them had those metal and rubber clips. Always the plastic ones. I should say broken plastic ones. I contact almost every person breaking a fuel injected TR7 asking about those metal/rubber fuel line clips also, no one has ever told me they have them. I bought some parts off guy with a really late TR8 and he had those plastic ones also. Man, those metal ones were really nice. Sold the car I put them on, so I don't have them any more. If I ever find the ones around here, I'll post a picture.

Now arrived from Robsport. I'm a bit surprised that they're not common to lots of BL cars, but maybe that's just another aspect of the BL shambles.

On my FI Spider, which is/was unmolested, there is only one metal/rubber clip and (going from memory) that is holding the return fuel line to the firewall as it goes under the firewall air plenum. I think I have seen these in various sizes in the odd parts bin/drawers at the local auto part store.
