Looking for Bra and Louvre

Not the Mrs' smalls, but for my FHC.

Bra for the front to protect from chips and Louvre for rear screen.

While it will protect from chips I believe the consensus is that they trap moisture and are hard on the paint job not to mention they ruin the lines of the car. I just put a dab of paint on the chip. Now that's my personal opinion and others may vary. What's your point of view?

Yes please don't do the bra! Dirt and grit get trapped between the bra and your paint and as the bra moves as you drive it acts like sand paper against your paint. I used to like them as a kid until I saw what it was doing to my car.

Awful looking things those bras are...
I'd rather just use touch-up myself.

Use this if you really need some kind of protection.

I know there's a lot of negativity about car bra's and for good reasons, but myself I do like period accessories.....

if a bra is installed correctly and not left on the car when wet it should not damage the paint. I used to have them on a few of my previous cars and never had an issue with the paint ...even on a dark blue.

Paul on here found his louvre's at a auto jumble, sure on Robsports stand, but a rare accessory. With Gaz, like to see period stuff on our cars.

I have a louver without mounting hardware and a bra available for sell.

Personally I prefer the Triumph International =http://tinyurl.com/naebcgm versions - they do improve the front look... [^]
The Triumph car version - makes a nice front look butt ugly! As we've seen in Gaz's earlier picture... [xx(]

Stop being mean, repaint the thing, using some decent paint.

With the first paint job on my current 7 I actually recorded touching up 146 paint chips, over about 7 years, before giving up. That was a respray over existing paint.

I finally bit the bullet, & had a full 2 pack & clear bare metal paint job about 18 months back, & have not had a stone chip since.
