oil guage

Hi all can any one tell me how this would work got a set of 52mm digi clocks says have to conect green wire to oil pressure sensor but tr does not have sensor what do I conect it to or what do I need to do thanks

TR7 only has an oil pressure <u>switch</u>, which switches on the oil pressure light when the oil pressure gets low.
You need to fit a T-piece/adaptor so you can fit the pressure switch and an oil pressure sensor ...

Got 3 clocks water temp oil temp and volt s that's why its oil on my car has oil sensor then center nut. Then a blank space could i tap into that do you think

'Clocks' is a term for dials or gauges.

As noted above you need to remove the existing oil pressure switch and replace it with a 'T' piece (readily available if you google it, just need to get the right size which I can't remember). You then fit the existing oil pressure SWITCH into one port of the 'T' and the SENSOR for the gauge in the other. The gauges normally come with the sensor but if you do not have it check the site of the gauge manufacturer. They are also generally available but not sure if they need to be matched to the gauge (mine is capillary, not electric).

If I remember correctly I got mine from Europa Spares many moons ago.
Was part of a fiitting kit for a mechanical oil gauge.
