There are some fantastic cars in that auction! Two Maxi's, a Marina, a Delta Integrale, Sunbeam Tiger, a Mk1 Rover 216 Vitesse apparently one of only 3 on the road, a supercharged Rochdale Olympic (no I have never heard of it either but it looks good), a Merc AMG SL600, and the ultimate kids Xmas prezzie in the childs size Lotus 79 race car with Moto Morini engine.

I would not dare to go[:)]

Popped up to another auction in Norwich last month and could have come back with several cars on top of the pile of memrabilia I did get[:D]

I had forgotten how much fun you can have, playing at the "Auctions"

I'm sure John will be interested in some of the BMWs.

Some great looking car's up this month, loving the pre war Austins and the 2300 SD1, they always did drive better than the 2600, wonder how much that Lea Frencis will go for, keep me busy over the winter !

I know that red TR7.

I won a red gearbox on ebay and went to fetch it from an army base as the guy building it was moving back abroad away from the UK. I had a good look around it.

The work he had done was good quality and he just couldn't take the unfinished project abroad with him. He'd sold the sprint engine and gearbox and was going to sell the rolling shell on ebay - which he did.

I noticed the shell was going to end on ebay at a low price so I bid and won the auction at £700. I didn't really need it and he said he'd been offered more so I told him to sell it to the other guy because it as was worth much more than £700, and he deserved to get more and I was still doing other TR7 projects and space an issue.

Everything on the car was either new or refurbed. The only thing that put me off a little was the body kit and at the time wasn't interested in a sunroof.
